Introduction
In alignment with the European Parliament’s International Women’s Day programming, « Strengthening the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda – Upholding Women’s Rights in Defence, Security, and Peacebuilding », the LUX Audience Award is hosting a special screening of Intercepted by Oksana Karpovych.
This documentary highlights the human toll of the ongoing war in Ukraine, an issue that has been central to the European Parliament’s agenda. The Parliament has taken a strong stance in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty, condemning Russian aggression, and advocating for the protection of human rights in the region.
