SENTIMENTAL VALUE est le nouveau film de Joachim Trier, avec cette fois encore Renate Reinsve dans le rôle principal. Le film suit Nora, actrice (Reinsve) et sa sœur Agnes, qui viennent de perdre leur mère. Lorsque leur père Gustav, cinéaste à succès, reprend contact avec elles par le biais d’un nouveau scénario, il propose le rôle principal à Nora. C’est une première tentative pour reconstruire le lien entre père et filles.
