Synopsis
In 1999, at the southern tip of Korea in Geoje, wild high school duo Pil-sun and Mi-na live for passion: dance. Desperate for their own dance studio at school, they trick transfer student Se-hyun, a former Seoul cheerleader, into forming a school cheerleading club called the "Millennium Girls." Recruiting an eccentric group of beginners with zero dance experience, the team sets out with an ambitious goal—not to cheer for winning teams, but to dance and cheer for anyone who needs a boost in their life. Through fierce practice, teenage rivalries, and the struggles of a small shipbuilding town, the Millennium Girls learn the true meaning of friendship and solidarity, spreading infectious joy and dynamic rhythm to everyone around them.
