ESTA TODO BIEN / ONE WORLD IN BRUSSELS
Making sure that you and your loved ones have the necessary medication or receive urgent treatment for a serious illness is hopelessly impossible in Venezuela. « I don’t have a choice, I am being forced to close it, » Rosalía calmly explains to her husband before finally closing her pharmacy, which has simply run out of medicine. Most doctors, like millions of other people, have left the country. The young doctor Efraím is one of the few who have stayed, even though he doesn’t even make enough money to buy food. Rebeca suffers from acute leukaemia and, like Mildred, vitally needs treatment. The crisis in Venezuela is drastically worsening and growing into a humanitarian disaster.
