FR : Après le décès de ses parents, Iman, une jeune femme traditionnelle et conservatrice, doit prendre en charge sa jeune soeur, Noha. Lorsque celle-ci est demandée en mariage, Iman doit demander à ses oncles de rencontrer le prétendant et sa famille, comme il est d’usage dans les sociétés arabes qui requièrent la présence d’un homme auprès de la fiancée pour arranger le mariage. Mais Iman décide de ne pas suivre la tradition.

EN : A defining week in Iman’s life goes by as she attempts to convince any of her uncles to attend her younger sister’s engagement in her deceased father’s place, as is tradition. However, a shocking discovery prompts her to do away with all these withered traditions that she once clung to.
