Synopsis
In parallel love stories, two couples confront the social power structure in which they find themselves. At the same time, director Jafar Panahi finds himself unwittingly involved in a political riot in the village when he is asked to share a photo of a couple in a forbidden relationship. The drama escalates and it soon becomes clear that seemingly innocent artistic actions can have extreme consequences.
