Synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Ainara is an intelligent and idealistic young woman who lost her mother at an early age. Like her devout mother and other family members, she attends a Christian school. Everyone around her expects her to go to university, yet she herself seems more drawn to a contemplative life as a nun. When Ainara tells her family she is considering entering a convent, it provokes mixed reactions. Her father has doubts but above all wants to support his daughter. Her atheist aunt Maite believes her niece is about to throw her life away. Does she truly want this, or is she being influenced by the spiritual guidance at her school?
