Synopsis
1943. The Nazis occupied Belgium and seized the national daily newspaper Le Soir from its owners to turn it into a propaganda tool. With commemorations of 11 November banned, a group of resistance fighters came up with a mad idea: what if, to boost the morale of the Belgian people, they managed to print a fake edition of Le Soir? The same paper, the same title, the same format, but packed with articles ridiculing the occupiers? This is the mad adventure and the true story of a fake edition of a real newspaper…

A European NGO specializing in the analysis and combating of disinformation. It brings together researchers, journalists, and civil society actors.
EDMO BELUX
The Disinformation Observatory in Belgium and Luxembourg, which brings together fact-checkers, researchers, and media literacy specialists.
Lie Detectors
A media literacy organization that raises awareness among young people and teachers about how journalism works, how to verify information, and the mechanisms of manipulation.
