What is a cinemix? Since the early 2000s, the Cinémix trend in France has become very popular, thanks to the many electronic musicians and DJs who have been invited to give a new live interpretation of silent films. The duo RadioMentale are among the pioneers and inventors of the genre. In the talking films they take over, they reinterpret the film live, creating a new soundtrack while keeping the original dialogue. In a way, the duo proposes another reading of the film which, without altering its narrative, brings a new dimension to it, both original and personal, and of course more willingly sonorous.
