Synopsis
Funny, charismatic and with an iron will, that is how we know the Paralympic wheelchair athlete Marieke Vervoort, who decides to take control of her painful degenerative disease with her request for euthanasia. Freed by the legal permission to die, the athlete blossoms in the last chapter of her life, becoming world champion. This film follows the athlete in her last 3 years of life, in which the acceptance of imminent death becomes a celebration of life.
