Synopsis
In Mexico, Las Patronas prepare meals every day for migrants on their way to the US. These women, who themselves live in poverty, all have one or more relatives who have left in search of a better life. In dangerous conditions, they stand by the side of the tracks and, as the trains pass, throw away food and bottles of water taken by the stowaways.

Synopsis

This year, for our annual festival, we'll be taking you on a tour of Mexico City, with open-air screenings and special events! As a pioneer of Latin American cinema, Mexico City has had an eventful cultural history, seeing the birth or welcoming of many directors considered to be true pillars of the seventh art from its beginnings right up to the present day.
