Jackie, who works at the shooting range of Lou's criminal father (Ed Harris), puts everything into training for the most important bodybuilding competition in Las Vegas, something Lou is only too happy to help her with. However, the fledgling but intense love affair takes an unexpected turn when Lou's sister is brutally abused and hospitalised. Soon everything spirals violently out of control and Lou has to face not only her father's dark past, but also her own.
