Brussels Porn Film Festival 2026

Created to reduce the stigma surrounding pornography and recognize its importance in the history of cinema, the Brussels Porn Film Festival is Belgium’s first festival dedicated to alternative pornography. Although widely produced and consumed, pornography remains a taboo subject, rarely discussed outside of a moralistic framework. Yet it is also a powerful tool for political and artistic expression, particularly for marginalized groups. Feminists, LGBTQIA+ individuals, sex workers, and other minorities are taking up the camera to represent their own bodies and stories, which are often absent from traditional media.

The festival offers a diverse selection of explicit works, featuring a national and international short film competition, a focus on feature films, as well as industry networking events, panel discussions, performances, workshops, a creators’ market, and festive evenings.
