Synopsis
In a daring film, two directors explore new paths in the cinematic language through the story of Senobia Cerrud, who lived in a small village in the middle of nowhere. One day, the old woman decided to turn her house into a creation museum. Her spirit now lives surrounded by the world she created with her writings and imagination. In her museum-kitchen, her fellow Panamanian citizens talk about her art and reflections. A way of talking about loneliness and femininity and a plea for the sublimation of life.

Pilar Moreno works as a visual artist specialising in art therapy. “Para su tranquilidad, haga su propio museo” is her first film project. The screenplay stems from her interest in art produced outside of the art world.
Ana Endara undertook directing courses at the International Film and TV School (EICTV) in Cuba. She is interested in the Panamanian society’s perspectives and in the sense of belonging.
