Synopsis
'Leila's Brothers' is about Leila, who at 40 devotes her life to caring for her parents and four brothers. In a country in the grip of international economic sanctions, her family is also weighed down by debt. As the entire family desperately tries to make ends meet, Leila discovers that her father is hiding his inheritance. He wants to use the money to become the clan's new Patriarch, the highest honor in Persian tradition. When father's health continues to deteriorate, the actions of each family member bring them one step closer to the abyss.
