Introducing
In calm, subtly observant images, he sensitively portrays the passionate love that two men feel for each other at the dawn of their old age.
Synopsis
Pak is a 70-year-old taxi driver who lives with his wife. Hoi, separated from his partner, lives with his son. The two men, who have lived their entire lives without revealing their sexual orientation, meet randomly on the streets of Hong Kong and find tender moments of intimacy in a bathhouse. As Pak and Hoi fall in love, they contemplate a possible future together, which is not so easy to imagine. Ray Yeung artfully addresses the discrimination and isolation faced by people on the fringes of traditional family structures.
