Synopsis
Amid the chaos and devastation of Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, three artists refuse to flee — choosing instead to stay, create, and defend what they hold dear. In a war fought by trained soldiers against ordinary civilians, Slava Leontyev, Anya Stasenko, and Andrey Stefanov remain behind, armed with their art, their cameras — and, for the first time, guns. Under relentless shelling, Anya channels resistance through her work, Andrey risks everything to get his young family to safety abroad, and Slava begins training everyday people who have become unexpected fighters. As the conflict deepens, Andrey turns the lens on their shared experience, while Anya and Slava capture their past, their uncertain present, and their fragile hopes for the future — one delicate porcelain figure at a time.
