Synopsis
In September 1940, the Pétain regime took power. Henri Marre, 49, arrived in Vichy penniless, without any contacts, and far from his wife and children. He saw the new administration as an opportunity to finally find the position he deserved. In his suitcase is his self-published political treatise, *Notre Salut*, in which he defends his patriotic convictions and his engineering methods. His credo: “gaining efficiency” to lift France out of its collapse. But perhaps Henri is seeking, above all, to escape his own personal collapse…
