“If I show my old prosthetic, they will surely see how bad it is?” The woman holds up her worn out leg prosthetic. Synopsis

For twenty years, the victims of the Six Day War in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo, have been fighting to obtain recognition of the conflict, condemnation of the belligerents and financial compensation. Revolted by the indifference of their governments, they decided to undertake a perilous journey across the Congo River to Kinshasa, the country's capital, to make their voices heard.
