10 films, 10 cities, 10 hours of films. An immersion and a vibrant tribute to what we have been most cruelly deprived of during the time of successive confinements: public space.

With Homo Urbanus, Bêka & Lemoine explore the urban world with their characteristic wit and humor, inviting us to observe in detail the multiple forms and complex interactions that exist every day between people and their urban environments.

Navigating aimlessly, without compass or map, through the territory of the city, Bêka & Lemoine search for snippets of daily life, gestures, places, scenes that make a city what it is, depicting it in its present, in the simplicity of its daily life. They listen to its rumbling, the noise of its depths – and slip into its rhythm.
