Usures is the result of a meaningful encounter with Saïd, a homeless choreographer. His withdrawal from society is echoed by the emptiness that characterizes the film. Usures fills this void with moving bodies, substrates and bursts of life that embody the emotions that Saïd goes through in his daily life. Underground tunnels, bridges where two worlds collide, turn into a stage where bodies reconcile and take back the power over their own fate.
The Object Becomes, Alexandre Humbert, 2021, 30′, VOEN
This movie tells the story of Belgian design at an historical moment that determines an important turning point in its role. One story, nine practices: the stories blend together to create a unity of space and time, building a single voice common to all.
