Synopsis

Tehran 1978: Eight-year-old Marjane think of the future and dreams of being a world-saving prophet. She witness the iranian revolution and lives under a new control organized by the Islamic Republic: she now dreams of being a revolutionary. Her forthright ways and rebellious positions will lead her to Austria where she will experience a second revolution: adolescence.
