We will program three screenings at the abattoir market on 9, 10 and 11 August accompanied by a themed meal in collaboration with Cultureghem and the Dream Kitchen, a free kitchen that uses unsold market vegetables to make affordable meals while fighting food waste
Synopsis
In a shop in the heart of Tokyo, Sentaro makes and sells dorayaki, a traditional Japanese pastry consisting of two pancakes filled with a candied red bean paste. His business survives thanks to the local high school girls which are his main customers. Sentaro is looking for a cook to help him, one day, Tokue, a 76-year-old woman, shows up, interested in the job.

For this special "hors série" edition of our annual L'heure d'été festival, we will this year focus on multiple cinematographies: a cinematographic archipelago in various Brussels public open air spaces that we will take over for the occasion.
